My Work
Tushita Publications
An unsolicited redesign of Tushita Publications, a series of books on Tibetan Buddhism. Involved e-commerce, new book covers, augmented reality, and motion graphics.
Romp through the Ranges
A tourist geolocation app using augmented reality in the Macedon Ranges. Made for mobile, and involves gamification by collecting artefacts.
Eat Plants,
Die Healthy.
A six week multichannel social media campaign that promoted the benefits of a whole food plant-based lifestyle in preventing and reversing the top five leading causes of death in Australia.
Exquisite Corpse
Motion graphics sequence mirroring the protest movement of the 1960s and ‘70s for the rights of human beings with those of non-human animals in the present day: the only difference is your perception.
RedShed Arts Workshop
Client design for a non-profit community website encouraging artists and community members to engage in art activities, promote the arts, and create artistic employment opportunities.
Australian Standard MicroCredential Courses
Client design for microcredential courses (short certification courses focused on specific areas of study for quick skill development). Features website design, branding and identity design.
About Me
I’m Tara Sleeman, a UX/UI designer with a sprinkle of motion.
I draw inspiration from the natural world and prioritise ethics and compassion for all beings. Good design accommodates everyone’s needs and accessibility should be easy and beneficial for all.
I have a passion for human-centred design and believe that people should be seen as more than just users. Technology itself is not inherently based on, nor something to fear; it’s how we use it that matters. I strive to create a positive impact and be of benefit to others.
